More about this game
Unfold the Truth: Tommy is a visual novel where you navigate three public scenarios involving unseen disabilities: an arcade toilet, a bus priority seat, and a cafe entrance with a service dog. Your goal is to choose responses that build Awareness and Dignity. The core loop involves reading dialogue, selecting one of three responses, and seeing the outcome. The game ends after the third scenario, where your total Awareness and Dignity scores determine your final rating.
Tips
- Each choice awards different amounts of Awareness and Dignity points. The best responses provide 3 points in each category, totaling 6 points.
- Aim for choices that balance explaining the situation with maintaining Tommy's boundaries. Stating the access need clearly often yields the highest combined score.
- Your final rating depends on your total score. To achieve the highest rating, Truth With Compassion, you need a combined score of at least 16.
Questions
How do I get the best rating?
To get the 'Truth With Compassion' rating, you need a combined Awareness and Dignity score of at least 16 across the three scenarios.
What happens if I choose to say nothing?
Choosing to say nothing or avoiding explanation will still progress the story, but it results in fewer Awareness points, usually giving you 2 points instead of 3.
What are the three scenarios in the game?
You will face a tourist judging Tommy at an arcade toilet, an uncertain passenger at a bus priority seat, and a guarded host at a cafe regarding his service dog.
