You play as Isabel working the graveyard shift at a call center. The goal is to survive five nights while investigating the disappearance of Maria Santos at Cubicle 47. The core loop involves reading dialogue, making choices that affect your Trust, Suspicion, and Curiosity, and reacting to quick-time events. Failing to answer phones or check CCTV cameras in time drains your Sanity, which starts at 100. The game ends when you complete Night 5, unlocking one of five different endings based on your choices and remaining Sanity.
Tips
- Failing a phone quick-time event drains 25 Sanity by default. Keep your finger ready to tap the answer button within the 1.5-second limit.
- During the Night 4 CCTV investigation, you must switch cameras in the exact sequence of 02, 04, and 07 within 3 seconds.
- Your choices shape the ending. Earning at least 2 Trust points with Mia and Jun allows you to unlock the Night Shift ending.
Questions
How many endings are there?
There are five endings: The Survivor, The Night Shift, The Truth, The Last Call, and a secret ending called The New Maria. Your dialogue choices and Sanity level determine which one you get.
What happens if my Sanity drops?
You lose Sanity when you fail quick-time events, like missing a phone call. If your Sanity drops below 40 or 70 by Night 5, the ghost's appearance becomes more distorted and frightening.
How do I survive the Night 5 run sequence?
You must complete three stages in 7 seconds: tap to start running, tap again to dodge falling equipment, and hold the button for 1.35 seconds to keep the elevator doors open.
