More about this game
Daddy's Dots: A Braille Story is a short interactive tale where you help a young boy named Calean learn the Braille alphabet. In each of the three chapters, you are given a specific letter to create on a six-dot Braille cell. You must press the correct dots to match the letter's pattern. When you form the letter correctly, the story advances, revealing more dialogue between Calean, Emma, and Jack. The run ends when you successfully complete the three-letter word DAD.
Tips
- If you are stuck on a letter, wait exactly 2.5 seconds without pressing anything. A dot will pulse yellow to hint at the correct pattern you need to press.
- You can tap a raised dot again to lower it if you make a mistake. The game only checks for completion when the exact required dots are raised.
- Pay attention to the dot numbers, which are labeled 1 through 6 on the cell. The letter D requires dots 1, 4, and 5 to be raised simultaneously.
Questions
How many letters do I need to make?
You need to make three letters in total to spell the word DAD. The first chapter asks for D, the second for A, and the third for D again.
What happens if I press the wrong dot?
Nothing bad happens. You can simply press the incorrect dot again to turn it off and try a different combination until you find the right pattern for the letter.
Can I mute the background music?
Yes, you can tap the mute button located in the top left corner of the screen. This will silence both the background music and the sound effects of the dots.
